Mission/Description |
The Petfinder.com Foundation was created in 2003 to further assist adoption partners through problem solving, fundraising and providing relief in times of stress or disaster. Our mission is to ensure that no pet is euthanized for lack of a home. |

Areas of Funding |
Helping animal shelters and adoption organizations better communicate their needs and services; working with our Petfinder members to enhance their adoption program and percentages; and providing financial and technical assistance to animal organizations affected by natural disaster. |

Priority given to animal shelters, rescue and/or adoption organizations who participate in Petfinder.com. Also support of 501c3 organizations (or those within 6 months of filing for nonprofit status) and animal control organizations (where the grant funds are guaranteed to go to that organization and not the general use funds of that particular city or county). |
